Now playing - 'Rain Dances' (updated version) by 'Camel' sequenced by Stan and the Sequencers
Interesting events have happened in 'Stan and the Sequencers' land. One of my sequences has been found recorded on Mellow Music's Camel tribute disk and the credit was given to a Louie Mastro. That name sounded familiar, but I didn't quite know why at that time, but I dug and found 1 piece of e-mail from a Mr. Louie Mastro -

Hello everyone.
Here is the clip I have been talking about sending forever. I would have sent it sooner but I had NO idea how long it took to upload. If you have a 2400 baud modem It's OK to blow this off, I will send a tape instead. So please don't think I am trying to run up your already UNFORGIVIBLY large AOL bills : ).
A couple of thoughts...
First -There is a bonafide PSYCHO on AOL by the name of ... . This guy is absolutely NUTS. he is sending threatning letters to people who post things that he dosen't like in the progressive boards (LIKE ME). I have already reported him to the TOS (Terms Of Service) advisor but there are others who have had problems with him as well. Second-Jim Pitulski (manager of DT as well as De-Facto manager of LUNAR SEA gave me a DAT tape of a recent DT gig and I have to say that Derek Sherainian has done an EXCELLENT job playing keys. I have known him for a couple of years but he has shown me things to me that I NEVER knew he had. I am very happy for all of them.
Hopefully L.S. will open for DT this summer, looks good!
Third-This clip is BRAND NEW I just finished it 2 days ago and I don't even have a title for it yet. the compleat piece is 8 minutes long (the clip is about a minute+) I have been calling it "JETHRO GENTLESIS" for lack of something else until I write the words. Judging from all of your postings-you all really know what your talking about, So your opinions are both welcome and valued. Don't be afriad to criticize or compliment!
All of you on the mailing list will get a tape in the near future. If this works out well I will upload more in the near future. Thank you all for listening.
WARM REGARDS,
LOUIE MASTRO
P.S. YOU NEED PKUNZIP TO EXTRACT THIS FILE!

(I'd like to note, there really are folk on AOL (and many other forums) that act like 'psychos' as Mr. Mastro describes of the screenname I blanked out (there is a better description than "psycho" though - "censor".))
The word is, that Louie Mastro committed suicide, I don't know how accurate that is. These pages go under that assumption.
Fact is, here is my opinion as to why Mr. Mastro, who had just released a cd on Mellow (Ha!) Records committed suicide. It is my belief that the Humpheads (of the 'vast right-wing conspiracy') got a couple of sequences from a Mr. Tom Nicholaides (who it ends up runs around under the alias of Andy Burnett), who was one of the very first persons that called me with response of my uploading sequences to AOL. Of course, he was looking to see if he could get some more of my sequences. I wonder why? ;-) Mr. Nicholaides also stores the DoorC sequence on his Progressive Rock MIDI Server.
Obviously, Mr. Mastro liked to speak his mind. While Mr. Mastro was apparently fighting the Know-nothings in the progressive boards, I was fighting them in the political boards. Of course, we both attracted the Know-nothing's attention. So, they devised a plan. They gave Mr. Mastro a piece of bait, and he bit on it. They offered him a record contract with Mellow. But, it's a 'kill 2 birds with 1 stone' plan. So, Mr. Mastro wakes up one day to find that there's a Camel compilation cd out called 'Harbour of Joy'. Lo and behold, what does he find on it but 2 songs credited to his name, but he didn't do the work, he was had.
Louie, obviously I'm continuing your fight for you, our fight is one and the same. You died for Camel's freedom and our freedom. I dedicate my 'appearance' ;-) on Brave Combo's 'Group Dance Epidemic - Fun .... and Functional!' in your memory.
Thank you, we won't forget you.
